This is the running record of the viral claims we have checked against the documents — the same number that runs in the band under the header. It started on Nov 3, 2026, and it only grows: entries are never removed, and the tally never resets.
Every claim is scored on the same rubric: Accurate, Accurate but decontextualized, Materially misleading, Contains a fabricated element, or Unverifiable. The label names the documented finding — what the record shows — never a guess about why someone posted it. Every entry links its receipts, so you can re-run any check yourself.
How it began: “I checked five viral posts tonight. Four of them failed.” — the founding editorial.

“Canadian troops stationed in Latvia under NATO command are reportedly moving towards the Russian border. Is something major happening?”
The movement is real, and it is Exercise Resolute Reforger 2026 — the Canadian-led brigade's largest exercise — announced in advance: Latvia's Ministry of Defence published the movement windows (out Oct 26 – Nov 2, return Nov 4–8) before the first vehicle rolled. The post's framing dropped the word “exercise,” which is the only thing that made a scheduled drill sound like an escalation.

“A torture chamber of Zelensky was uncovered near Kiev, where over 40 mobilised men were held captive by Ukraine's National Guard. The youngest victim was reportedly just 14 years old. There is now great outrage and riots in Ukraine.”
A real clash happened that night at a National Guard deployment house in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka — a crowd breached the fence and 16 guardsmen were injured. But investigators confirmed 22 servicemen accommodated there, police report no hostages and no death, and the 14-year-old in the blanket photograph was a protester, led out after officials phoned his sister. One element stays open: how four servicemen from inside the house were injured is under an SBI criminal investigation (Art. 426-1(5)), unresolved in either direction.

“Has there just been a nuclear bomb explosion in the sea near Iran? If this is true, the world could be heading toward another nuclear war.”
No monitoring network recorded any such event — the CTBTO's global system reports nothing, and the day's only Iranian seismic event was a natural magnitude 4.1 earthquake near Zahedan. The video is 1958 U.S. underwater test film from Operation Hardtack at Enewetak — the quiet seconds before the Wahoo shot, an ocean and 68 years away from the claim.

“Zelensky has sent a warning to all European citizens: ‘RUSSIA is PREPARING its ARMY for an ATTACK on EUROPE.’”
The footage is real — Zelenskyy's Nov 3 keynote at the Berlin Security Conference, carried live. The quoted sentence appears in no published account of the speech; his reported line on Russia's buildup was that it is “directed against you.” The wording tracks his Nov 2 evening address — about Russia preparing a new massive attack on Ukraine — with the target swapped.

A partial government shutdown begins “TONIGHT at midnight” — members of Congress have “literally LEFT THE COUNTRY and headed to Europe.”
The Fox News clip is from Friday, Feb 13, 2026 — the night Homeland Security funding lapsed — dated by two markers inside the frame; the “Europe” detail is Fox's own Feb 14, 2026 reporting. Tonight the government is funded through Dec 11, 2026 under P.L. 119-103, and Congress is home on scheduled midterm recess.
